If you’re looking for the latest studio policies and forms, you’re in the right place!
All memberships come with unlimited rescheduling capabilities.
To reschedule a session, the original appointment must be canceled online with at least 12 hours’ notice.
If you cancel fewer than 12 hours before your scheduled session, you will not be able to reschedule. This includes cancelations for traffic, meetings that run long, sudden illness, lost track of time, or just plain forgetfulness.
Notifications may also be given directly to Sarah via email or phone (firstname.lastname@example.org or 937-219-9238), if for some reason you cannot access the scheduling calendar before the 12-hour cut off time.
True emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If Sarah needs to cancel outside of planned studio closings, a replacement session will be provided at a time that works in your schedule (either in-person or online in real time).
Payments are made at the time of booking for all Drop-In Sessions and New Memberships.
Recurring Memberships are automatically charged to your credit card on your payment date each month.
Check or Cash payments may be accommodated upon request.
If you need to cancel your membership at any point, you must provide notice at least 2 weeks prior to your next payment date. If you give notice after this 2-week period, you card will be charged for the next month. You are welcome to continue your lessons through the next month. There are no refunds for prepaid services.
You may also put your membership “on hold,” if you know in advance of an upcoming extended absence, longer than 2 weeks.

Latest studio information and policies regarding Covid and health safety concerns:
My preference is to conduct lessons in-person as long as we feel it is safe to do so. However, I want to accommodate you need and are most comfortable with. For in-person lessons:
Masks are not required at this time. But, if you prefer that we mask, we can do that. I do have disposable masks available in case you forget yours.
I also have hand sanitizer available. I request that all piano students use it prior to touching the instrument. We will also use sanitizer prior to touching rhythm instruments when we plan to use them.
I have instrument-friendly alcohol swabs for the piano and will use them in between students.
I will also be wiping down commonly touched surfaces (door handles, etc) frequently where appropriate.
If you prefer to have online lessons at any time, please let me know. I never want anyone to feel uncomfortable.
I also don’t want us to use online because solely for convenience. So please consider what is the best for you both to optimize your learning and progress and for your comfort-level.
